A bit about me and why I can help you ...

As a result of working as a landscaper and garden designer for more than 20 years in water garden construction, I was brought face to face with all the problems that every style of water feature in every possible situation can present. Having successfully dealt with all the problems, it was disheartening to see that people who could ill afford it were attempting projects that were strewn with problems, many of which could have been solved long before the first sod of soil was shifted.

It would have been the easiest solution to call in a landscaper to put the ideas into reality. But the disproportionate expense of labour and the fact that water garden construction is a very labour intensive area of landscaping, this can very often make the simplest of projects become twice as expensive as the material costs. Much better that everyone be provided with all the necessary information to build their own water garden and thus derive the never-ending pleasure and satisfaction from the creation of this new little self-sufficient world in their own garden where the constant growth and activity is a ceaseless reward to all the senses.
